shopping & websites

Some places I enjoy shopping ... ?
(unsure if cool to place 'em here in conversational mode, blog between space of conversation and published published)

... on World Wide Web
Shopping
Amazon.com ... some of both CDs & DVDs, though other odds & ends too
SecondSpin.com ... sometimes music, mostly DVDs
Half.Ebay.com ... if that's the URL, usually singles on CD/DVD, shipping that way's extra though
Walmart.com ... we mostly get our cat food here
BobsRedMill.com ... grain, sometimes raisins bulk, sunflower nuts
Dell.com ... computers, they extend credit if you're eligible
that one place for concert footage, need to look the address up for it to place it here
HeavyMetalWeb.net ... may get browser there, it's raw footage, depending on what you like it's a treasure of a find

-----------------------------------------------

Novelty
outofcontext.com ... looked kinda funny at a glance
cosmicjoke.com ... both of these two websites I 'stumbled onto' (euphamism[?]) wonderin' if the URLs were available

all I'm thinkin' of at the moment

erowid.org ... some fun stories ya wonder about the truth of, I suppose ... happened onto it thinkin' about researching for a story, though I'm no writer and besides sorta resolved that without first hand experience the writing would be too wanting

-----------------------------------------------

Information
wikipedia.org ... they had an ad months ago asking for donations, touting their website as something like the single largest collection of human knowledge in the history of the species ... I thought that was really wild(definitional), man(vernacular) ... if true, that is really wild ... I like it recently especially for discographies of bands for my guitar study, though, psychology, philosophy, film history ... etc ...

-----------------------------------------------

Movies Rental
netflix.com ... I guess the by-mail DVDs is too big a load on the postal service but no one wants to say that in as many words, I try to limit our number of months up, we don't have DSL or wireless still, low budget
blockbuster.com ... both of these movie sites are a trip, you can program your own viewing, I guess in a not exactly budget from hell world you got pay to view and on demand or something, I never seen any of that ... only complaint I got about these ones, I don't know if I trust their referring other picks (and star rating) to be exactly above board and accurate instead of sorta programmed maybe ... still, the selection, far out (how far outside character the vernacular may be perceived relative to your place and station idunno)

---------------------------------------------

pleasure, I'm not talkin' business here (some happen to be businesses, but, if you draw the distinction), I'm simply passing along the places I enjoy, not tryin' to plug no one or cause 'em any trouble ... the list doesn't include any place I've ever stopped at or shopped
