Sleep
... best time of the day
for sleep is the cool of the mornin', found it out a long time ago, as the
morning warms and the ambient temperature comes up to the temperature under the
bed covers and you naturally wake and get outta bed into like temperature, one
of most natural feelings for a waking up time of the day ... I been snap &
pop and REM feed for so long all's I got's the recall of it nowadays ... I guess
most people may never even be aware of the quality of it because they get in a
standard work day work sleep cycle and maybe keep that even after retirement ...
... it's one of those things, we all have priorities and it probably takes a
back seat for most people even if they are aware of it, people have busy lives
and don't have time, value wise, to focus on what little difference there may be
in optimal time of day sleep, that's a guess of course
...
---------------------------------------
... snap, crackle, pop is likely a trademark and ... etc ... was sound for some 28 years
---------------------------------------
... when it isn't hit, the recommended 6-8 hours per night, at least 6 hours, 7-8 hours 3-4 times per week is maybe a little light for me personally, not terribly, but, a little ...
... as is (under duress of harassment), my schedule has to adjust to 7-9 hours even 8-10 at times due to the erratic state the sleep is kept in and the stress load (ongoing and cumulative) from the harassment I have been subjected to for over two decades, the stress is still not managed, as, among other reasons, less than sound sleep for me is inadequate ... the effect in tryin' to patch together a sleep routine makes like either too much or too little, that is, since it isn't sound ...
... the REM is fed, not seeded, but fed ... am unsure what counts as REM deprivation, but mine is kept from running it's natural course for my own mind's work to be done nocturnally ... I obviously can't make that claim with 100% assurance as it isn't something I could possibly know without inside information and even then it would only be information, what I have is the personal experience of it to recount, that's all ...

Suntan
... you know, when it's more truely relaxing, when you ain't got the distractions of the cyber (as satellite) surveillance, the read and feed from that, when you are there in the moment ... it's as though you tune in ... when your breathing seems to synchronize with the blowing of the breeze and you can see it in the swaying of the smaller limbs and leaves in the trees ... ... been a long time since it was that relaxing, that destressing ...
-- clean sweat ... you hear things about 'detoxifying' the body with sweat, idunno about all that, it's clean though, it ain't like bangin' your knuckles on a stripped out bolt under the hood of a car in 120 degree weather, ya know ... it ain't like choppin' weeds out in the field or in the garden and kickin' dirt up into your shoes and onto your sweaty body ... suntanning's clean, man ... clean sweat
-- muscle relaxant ... heat of the day, sun on your skin, layin' out with time to not worry about the time ... you don't melt into the blanket or lawn chair or nothin' but it can be one of the most relaxing feelings for the muscles of your body ...

NUTRITION
what is it, USDA(?) food pyramid (adapted, lacto ovo vegetarian mostly these days) and vitamin supplements, lots of times a calcium supplement, likely keep Vitamin C on hand, and, I wonder about Potassium since I do without fresh bananas lots of times, though, the raisins may do good for that when I have 'em
--------------------------------------------------
If you've ever considered vegetarianism have you found that Vitamin D, although mentioned, seems deemphasized compared to Vitamin B12?
Vitamin C
Cholesterol is a two way street, some of us can at times have too little, the huge push toward too much could create a problem for those of us who have too little.

EXERCISE
Jogging
... although it
ain't always a good jog; as long as I'm much up for a jog, it is most usually a
good workout; and, like a bonus, sometimes it's a good jog
...
-- good shoes for jogging (comfortable for the
jog not necessarily expensive)
-- walk / jog I read about in a book years ago, same book likely recommends medical approval if personal or family history of cardiac disease, something like that ... ?

---------------------------------------------------------
How many people you ever known died jogging?
You heard stories, how much more often is it the case someone not in shape with
jogging dies than someone that is in shape with it?
-- buy some good comfortable jogging shoes
-- if you're one that either has family history of cardio respiratory problems, or, you're one that relies on professional medical advice, or, both ... maybe you should 'consult your physician before taking on strenous physical exercise' sorta thing
... maybe watch the hips with takin' it into other gears than the walk / jog
