guitar

I'm not a guitar instructor, I can't charge you 10 bucks a pop, I am still a student myself, studying other peoples methods and primary sources. I wonder if things like guitar lessons and psychotherapy are sometimes a waste of time and good money, in that, what the person seeking the lesson, or, the therapy, needs could be told to them within three sessions.

First the problem is presented, it's got out into the open, maybe rapore(sp) of some sort needs to be established. The therapist any good at it has good insight and divulges devulges. Maybe both think on the problem until next session. Solutions from the lapse shared. Plan of attack. Third session shares resolution, out.

Are you practicing as much as you need to? Are you getting where you want to go? You do realize it is a gradual process and likely in most cases not magic but music? Do you have any questions? Are you having difficulty finding resource on your own to answer the questions you have?

What are lessons for (i.e., that/which you can't learn from a book)? Someone else's approval?

... regarding available methods and resource ... try this on ... maybe you (one) works the methods and things to the point that there is a shift(?) into more (personally) meaningful context yet retains the essence of skill training and information ... and ... with any decent taste, possibly a marketable new product, at least in the rough ... ?

... check out the picking technique, impressive how it builds ones confidence to see the progress from it ... idunno if that's the best advice but it does have a beneficial effect(sp/usage) mentally (in my mind) at least ...

(this is the last leg of what is an attempt at approximating 96 full time weeks; but, it has been start / stop and very inconsistent, mentally distracted all to wherever, etc ... I never seen conservatory, maybe they'd've been too regimented for the free form I needed any way, idunno)

Project Counter: Sat, Nov 23, 2013:
-- 5 weeks of 14.75 'post advanced' (though kinda 'associate' study; 'independent independent' at leisure at home, though, 'store bought' resource and some basically decent study / practice habits and skills, not exaclty prodigious but I suppose I did have a rather decent IQ [not so 'street', but])

Current Estimated Project Completion: approximately by April Fool's Day; still, it slips, though, at that, should still arrive well before Summer 2014 ('homespun,' no major 'production' kinda thing)

the study, practice and first round review of the .wavs is feelin' 'decent,' I wonder at times, bein' out of my prime, what it may have missed, if it would've been better back then

Project Counter: Fri, Nov 29, 2013
-- 5 2/3 weeks (ideally by Spring Break 2014, setbacks sometimes)

Project Counter: Sat, Dec 14, 2013
-- 6 1/3 weeks of 14.75 (coping capacity limited; weather aclimated relative; ecliptic)

Project Counter: Fri, Dec 20, 2013
-- 6 2/3 of 14.75 (hard time of the year, etc)

Project Counter: Sat, Dec 27, 2013
-- 7 of 14.75 (Holiday & same ole, time of year ... but, we are beginning to get approx 1 minute more daylight per day with ecliptic shift off of winter solstice)

maintenance block has ground down rather nicely, have a single verticle block that's usually a little light at an hour (1.5 is better for triple x's [contextual] on vertical most times), sometimes it slips to a half hour slot, have reviewed wavs (some 1300 of 'em) twice and compared lists for first pair down (now at somewhat over 700 wavs) for next listen through for trimmin' it down (where process arrived at this week), projected completion (possibly to tab and standard notation) is expected (at this juncture, maybe sooner maybe later) mid-April 2014 ... may not be posting weekly from this point (other projects [small home garden; kennel expansion], slow goin'), will be in touch time to time for update(s)
